OK, the seller is honest that this diaphragm in the first link is not an authentic Altec Lansing or Great Plains Audio diaphragm--I wouldn't touch it since it's not Altec or GPA. However, the same seller is calling the diaphragm in the second link brand new Altec Lansing? Uh, what's the deal?

Behind door number 2 looks like a legitimate GPA Pascalite diaphragm to me, down to the last detail. Even the box looks correct, although the part number on a sticker is new to me. In the past, GPA diaphragms i've bought just had the part number ink stamped on the box. The price even reflects a "proper" part as it's a tad more than you'd pay buying direct from Bill, which i would expect.
